BY FAR the best part of that movie is the fact the deer doesn't come back down.

Been there done that.
During our trip to California a few summers ago, Patti and I each hit a deer within one hour on Highway 1 on the coast. Patti's was kinda low speed but knocked it off a cliff. Mine was under an hour later at 78 miles an hour. A doe jumped over the guard rail right infront of me in one bound. After impact, I sent her head on into a F250 oncoming at about the same speed. At impact, she exploded all over us. I retured the rental with $7800.00 in damage between the two. Darn deer, grrrrrr.

I had my first motorcycle for a week and almost hit a deer at night. Caught it in the head light at the last minute and kinda did a fishtail skid and drove around the back end of the doe. She tried to run as I was passing her, but the asphalt was like ice under her hooves and it took her a bit to get some traction. I could have grabbed her tail, I was that close. Very scary ordeal and I don't recommend it  .
