Not too many western landscapes/critters put up on this board. Here is some from my backyard (badlands, mountains and prairie)...

No trophy animals....just some that were spotted on the way

I love the scenery there it makes me want to go there again, I think I sat on those same rocks in the badlands. The rockies are so nice. Thanks for the pics.

when i went out west we visited most of those spots but i remember the bad lands and it was pouring rain i thought i would be adventures and started to climb them i got half way up and realized the stone looking rock was really mud and slipped and fell and was totally covered in mud

so beautiful out there

Makes me want to head back there as well. Lived in a placed called High River , the foot hills of the Rockies .

i'll bite, i have no idea what a texas gate is what does it do?

Cattle/horses will not walk on/over a Texas gate. Eliminates the need for a typical gate where you would regularly drive into a fenced grazing area. Gates get left open and your cattle disappear somewhere.....with a Texas gate you don't have to worry about somebody leaving the gate open.
