I was really looking forward to that case. Hopefully Bill or one of the guys at excal can confirm or deny this.

I was thinking about that today. For the money I spent for the thin quilt bag I could put another 30$ in and got another decent rifle case. But I would have to assemble and disassemble the bow every time I took it out to shoot.Living in the city I don't have the convenience to just go out back. And I wouldn't want to get pulled over for something stoopid and have an uncased crossbow in the back of the truck.I've been waiting for the hard case. After a few times I should be able to put it together in the dark.

Apparently Gagons will have 9 of the deluxe cases this week. It is the T-shaped deluxe soft case, has some storage pockets and some rigitity to it.

Excal cancelled there shippment to Gagnon. Was a quality issue from what I was told. So excalibur doesn't want them hitting the shelf until its fixed i'm assuming.

We just got a shipment of the new cases in and we will be shipping this week. Check with your local Excalibur Dealer, they should have them shortly.

I am still looking for some type of case for my Vortex. For my trip out to Wyoming I was planning to break it down to fit into a double gun case.

I was talking to Craig at Gagnon's and they have six of them in the building as of today. The price was around $65.00???

Any idea what this case looks like? I would like to get one, but would like to see it before I drive to the next city to buy it.

The picture of the actual Excalibur version was on their website, then disappeared.

Is this a reasonable facsimile of the "New" case everyone else is referring to also?
I hope this is relatively what it looks like with the foam padding and that. Odd that its cheaper then the origional padded case that didnt seem to padded. Will let you know, just placed an order from the nook.
