Near Fredericksburg , Texas , where there is a large German-speaking population, an Amish farmer walking down a country road notices a man drinking from his pond with his hand.
The Amish farmer shouts: 'Trink das wasser nicht. Die kuhen haben
dahin gesheissen.'
Which means: 'Don't drink the water, the cows have [crapped] in it.'
The man shouts back: 'I'm from New York and just down here
campaigning for Obama, I can't understand you. Please speak in
English.'
The farmer hollers back: 'Use two hands, you'll get more!'

Wabi--some of us are hoping he get's elected---he want's open NAFTA--we would like to remind him that most of his"oil" dosen't come from Iran ,Iraq or the Middle east. Good Ol" Canadian Tar Sands.EH!!!!!
Be the kind of Woman that when your feet hit the floor in the morning the Devil says "Oh! crap She's up"
Wasn't really trying to take sides on the election yet, it was just too good a joke to keep to myself.
This is one of the few times I'm still undecided on the race. A president can't legislate anything, anyway, so most of the promises are just talk.
I do like Obama's take on getting out of Iraq and putting more effort into areas that are terrorist strongholds.
But then I remember Aw Shucks' comments on turning the middle east into a glassy surfaced parking lot and wonder if we shouldn't back him!
