Hey I am in Big Buck Magazine.

If anybody gets Big Buck Magazine I am on page 38 and 39 of the summer edition. What an honor to be in such a great magazine. Garry does a great job with every copy and I highly recomend it if you enjoy seeing giant whitetail and Muley bucks. I copied the article and one of the pics from the magazine so you can take a look at. In the magazine there is one other pic of me holding the sheds up. I hope you enjoy it.

Outstanding!!!!

I know that crazy farmer will agree, there is just something special about those big old mature eights.

They can't compete points wise minus the two tines and smaller tens outscore them all the time and that just does not seem fair!

One of the largest bucks I have ever taken was a big eight. He is on wall surrounded by other bucks who outscore him. But religiously when someone comes into my office to look at the mounts they always say "Damn!" when they look at him.

I enjoyed this story and pictures here at the forum when you took that brute Catcher, and now I got to enjoy him all over again.

I'll agree;) Ill take a huge 4x4 over the non typicals anyday. Granted I wont pass up any 15pt'ers LOL, but a nice perfect even racked buck just appeals to me. Normally all we see down here are mature 8pt bucks also. Thats a brute and definitly a a shooter.. all those little 4pts turn into deer like that if they can grow 2 more years

btw, thats the weight on that brute? 220? 230?

Thank you all for the nice comments. It was fun to see myself in the magazine. And Crazy Farmer the buck weighed 242 field dressed. And I too love those big eights. I love a big eight with matching drops on each side. I have seen a few in magazines before. But are few and far in between. Actually the Taxidermist called me on Saturday and said the deer is ready to be picked up. I will post a pic when I get it.
