Trail Camera Pictures
First buck has a hydrocyst on his neck. The second buck is a deer that i've never seen before and thats pretty unregular! I love finding deer like him around. The other pictures are of the bucks I posted two weeks ago. This is the second time that spiders have spun a web in front of my camera... Any ideas on how to prevent this from happening again? It ruined alot of great pictures this time. A question for you photoshop pros. Can I fix these pictures if I buy photoshop? Thanks in advance!
Fred, do you remember the article I wrote titled "The Phantoms We Never See?"
Every year we are surprised when we download the cameras and see a buck we have never seen before. It happens every year. I have come to the conclusion that there are bucks in my hunting area I have never laid eyes on either in person or through the viewfinder of a trail cam.
As to your photo shop question, I do not think there is anyway to "clean up" these shots. I have paint shop pro and I know I could make the bucks stand out a little better but it would be a ton of work.
I think your best bet is to solve the spider problem somehow.
Great pictures none the less, despite the spider!

Yes,Mike I remember that story very well. Your right it usually happens every year. For me it usuallly in the field I find the cruisers. As for the photoshop I thought it might be very tricky. The few I posted are the best ones I got. I have about 20 other pictures with bucks in them that you need to zoom in very far to even get an idea of what they are. Thanks for the advice, things are heating up!

Those are excellent shooter bucks. Someone is going to have fun this season.

I'd bet your bucks home was a good distance from your property. That's why he was always there that time of night. The time and the consistency of him tells me this was part of his scent checking route. Its probaly why you never seen him in the season. He was probaly only there less than a handful of times in shooting hours. All of which were most likely within a few days of each other in the rut. Good luck to you this year Peter!
Maybe try a line of chalk? I know ants don't like to cross chalk, so maybe spiders wouldn't either?
