The Town of Grimsby will be holding a public meeting to consider firearms discharge (including archery) in the rural area. The meeting particulars are as follows:

7:00 PM, Monday, Sept. 15, 2008
Town of Grimsby Council Chambers
160 Livingston Ave, Grimsby, Ont.

Since it is a public meeting, the Town has advised that questions/comments will be taken from the floor, but they are encouraging interest groups to have a single spokesperson for the sake of a smooth and timely meeting. If you're representing a group, contact the Clerks Department by no later than the morning of Sept. 12 to get on the list. The OFAH will be there to make a presentation.

This is an important meeting! Anybody (even if you're not from Grimsby) that can attend please do so, even if just to watch & listen. Let's show strength in numbers and let's look like the nice law-abiding people that we are (not Rambo).

I plan on showing up.
Years ago the town of lincoln had the same type of meeting as they wanted to ban hunting altogether.
i contacted Bill T and he and Kathy came down and did a presentation.
To this day that still stands out to me how such a busy guy could take his time out to make such an outstanding presentation.
It would be great if he could once again help out us archers.

Just a reminder the, the Grimsby public meeting is tomorrow night. The Town wants to prohibit archery as well as guns!!! Please show up if you can.
