Post by Turtleman »

Welcome to the forum!
As for extra limbs, no experiences there. I figure the limbs on my Phoenix are already as tough as can be produced, plus backed by the best warranty in the crossbow business, so there is no need for anything extra.

All Excal limbs are the same. The factory has some seconds you can buy, usually paintsmears and such around $100. I've gotten a couple of mag tip limbs to replace carved tips, hardly notice the difference.

I appreciate all the info. It never hurts to have an extra set of limbs. I hope to have my vortex for a long time and i want to be able to replace limbs if need be if something was to happen , also be able to match same camo patttern. I know, i'm just to particular about my equipment. Like the saying goes " One is none, two is one" :D
