Using Grayling Fletcher - Help with Offset.

Post by aerostarp »

I have a question:

Many of you mention that you use 4 degree or 8 degree offset for your fletching. How do you determine the degrees of offset on the Grayling Fletcher? Is there an adjustment with a scale on it? I don't see one.
:?
Thanks, Wayne

Thanks Bob:

That's pretty much what I did - eyeball it. It is just that people were so emphatic about the numerical value of the offset I thought that I was missing something. Wayne

I do the same as above on my blitz, just figure a 0-90 degree angle, and that a straight fletch is on a 0 plane, and any slight movement in the front end of the vane creates offset. 4 degrees isnt much offset at all, but it helps.

Mine are probably offset maybe 2-3 degrees tops, just enoguh so that its not perfectly straight
