The most obvious difference is the custom colors. Got a favorite team?

The real difference is the way they are built. The Boo strings are custom down to the number of strands in the string. You will get a smooth string which lasts a very long time that fits your shooting style. Boo strings are custom to your bow too(brace height, etc).

Both Boo strings and Excalibur are very, very good. Both makers stand behind their product 100%.
I'd rather wear out than rust out.

longer lasting.. the serving doesnt wear out no where near as fast! Its roughly a 5fps difference I notice, but thats because his are built a little heavier to stand the test of time. I like the FFF for speed, but I use the boo during crunch time so I can depend on it

-More custom strand options. 28-40 or more stands.
-Choice in serving width and serving material and colour.
-Whisker option.
-Pre stetched.
-2 or 3 coloured bundle options.
-About ten colours available.
-Affordable and long lasting if you care and wax them.
-Fast turnaround.
-Made with your brace height considered.
-Funds go back into the Excalibur forum in generous ways!

One point Norm missed is that the Boo string is less expensive.
(Huh? Is this wabi daft?)
A Boo string comparable to a factory string would be $35. ($24. for the factory string) The factory is working hard to achieve Boo's quality, but the first Boo string I bought is still going strong with the original serving after a year on the Phoenix. The factory serving normally needs replaced in a few months. To be conservative, I'd say twice the life from the string, so it's more like $17. compared to $24. (probably even less, I just can't seem to get enough time to shoot until I wear one out!)

I'm using his flem excel w/ served cat whiskers, only dropped 8-9 fps from FFF. Well worth it, imo.

Does that mean that boo strings are NOT made with fast flight?
