Digger's Death
I would like to add my condolences and prayers to the many already
expressed on this site. He will be greatly missed. My only direct dealing
with him was to mediate the sale of an excalibur wolverine.

Christy..
im kind of a newbie on this forum,im a real green horn when it comes to bows..
i always took great pleasure in reading your dads wisdom on here..a few times i said..
wow he lives in whitby, and seeing im from toronto ,i might get to meet him someday..
i,m so sorry to hear of your loss,my condolences go out to you and your family..
your dad must be beaming a big grin from up there to learn his daughter has taken the time in despite of her own grief.. to let all his friends and fellow hunters know of his sad departure of this world..
again my deepest condolences

Wow , what a loss ... Hope he finds Mikey V. and they look in on us from time to time !
Doug definately left and impression on us ! ... He will live on in the memories of his family and friends !
I'm choked up , sitting here looking thru a book he recently sent me ... He called me up out of the blue and said " I've got a book I'd like to pass onto you ... lots of pictures and field references " .. I figured you would enjoy it ...
" The New Hunters Encyclopedia " , third edition published in 1966 ... ( I would have been 5 years old then ) ... looks like it has lots of miles on it ..
Tons of great filed shots ... pictures of pretty well every game species .... and details of pretty well everything related to hunting that you could imagine , and then some ..
I felt honored to recieve such a piece of work ... It has found a place in my trophy cabinet now !
God Speed Digger ... I will be thinking of you , when I'm in the field this fall !

Chrysty,
I am in total shock & disbelief of this news.
I never had the pleasure of meeting your father face to face, but we talked via this forum & pm's many times as my father-in-law & brother-in-law were both firefighters on Etobicoke FD.
My thoughts & prayers are with you & your family in this time of sorrow.
Happy hunting & fishing Digger.

A bad day hunting, is better then a good day of work
Chrysty, I've been away for a week and just logged in now to catch up. What a shock! I'm so very very sorry to hear that you've lost your Dad. My own Dad died this past year and I miss him terribly. So much I wish I could talk with him about and share with him. I know you'll feel the same way about your Dad. Know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers as you go through these difficult days!
