I am so sad to here of Doug's passing !

Words cannot express ...

He was a great man ....

And I was honored to be considered a friend ...

We chatted often on phone and by PM ... and we even found time for lunch and the occational Bass Pro tour !

He just recently sent me an old hunting manual , hardcover book that he wanted me to have because the stories and pictures reminded him of my photo journal's ... I was choked up when it came in the mail , because It felt like I was being passed on something from a close family member ..

His presense and wealth of knowledge will be sorily missed on this forum !

I am definately a richer person just knowing Doug ! ... He is one of those characters you cross roads with in life that brings light to an other wise dull day ...

Again ... words cannot express ... I'm getting choked up typing this !

My heart goes out ... deepest condolenses to his family at this time of great loss !

Chrysty,
Even though I never had the pleasure of meeting your dad in person, I have enjoyed his posting over the past couple of years that I have been a family member here.

Please know that although he will be missed dearly, he will never be forgotten.

You & your family have my deepest condolences in this time of great loss.

Regards,
-Mike

Very, very sad. Digger was looking forward to the coming season. I opened this thread a couple of hours ago and couldn't believe my eyes. I had to log off. Upon returning, I was praying the thread was gone and Digger was here.

We will miss him.

I only got to meet your Dad through this forum, but this news is a shock.

The sense of loss and sadness the news brings to us can only a dim reflection of what you and your family feel.

I'm shocked, my sincere condolences to you and your family. When I first joined this forum Doug was always there when I had any question reqarding Xbows no matter how trivial the question was. Doug is truly going to be missed.
