380 grains with a 125 grain point, 255 grains without a point....i had to convert from grams to grains cause the scale i have is grams only....my arrows weighed 405 grains with a 150 grain point..........bob
i may be off some cause of est inserts weight and vanes....i have a electric digi scale on order, maybe i'll just get a chrony too....i could use both for my black powder rifles also............bob
got my firebolts today and they weigh 285. plus they have 5 inch vanes. says on the excalibur website they come with 4 inch vanes. so tht would be 385 with a 100gr tip. should be good out of the new max. 410gr with a 125 gr head.

I was informed by someone from Excalibur that the first Firebolts came with 5" vanes, but then Excalibur started making them with 4" to lighten them a bit to make them closer to the older Laser IIs. They found no difference in accuracy going to the 4" from the 5" - all the new ones have 4", so you must have gotten some from and older batch.
