barnett is sending me a new in the box predator. taking back my complete old predator back under warranty. the customer service has been great but i'm thinking i am just going to put it on ebay. i owned an exomax a few years ago when they first came out and it just ate up servings so i sold it. i'm wondering how the new exomax servings are holding up? i'm thinking about buying a new one and was just curious.

The new factory servings are holding up just fine. Much, much better than the one you had on your last Exomax. However, the second serving always beats the first one. It's easy to reserve. My favorite strings are the ones with their second servings. If you are not reserving already, then give it a try.
If you get a Exomax and have factory serving issues, then please let me or Dan Miller know. It's all I've been working on for the last six months or so. Dan Miller makes them and I break them with the Exomax. Dan has changed the material and made some adjustments in the way they are made. They are a ton better.

I'd rather wear out than rust out.

Well I have two Exomax.
Not a problem with either, strings, triggers, anything.
All perfect!!
I shoot my own bolts 228 to 234 gr. Depending on what I use.
Always tack drivers. Servings from Boo are excellent.
And servings from Comfybear are very good as well.

dw: I bought an Exomax in 2006 from BassPro right there in Baltimore. The serving wear on the first Excel string was poor for me as well. My second Excel string was a bit better better. I upgraded to a Flemish Fast Flight string back in the spring and it has been great. It is by far the best serving I have had because it shows very little wear at all with the sixty or so shots I have on it.
