good looking bow. why the recoil pad ?

i am six foot two 235lbs and i found the but of the xbow slid around to much the recoil pad adds one inch in leighth and at lot of surface area as well as damppening the vibrations. it also gives me a spot to hid n extra battery and a extra string and u dont even know it is there this works for me .DUTCH
