Some time over the past year the rubber ring on the eyepiece of my Vari-zone scope has vanished. I had never noticed it to be loose. My first thought is that it may have been brushed off when taking it in or out of the case. I checked my padded case but it wasn't there.
It really doesn't do much. Its not like the recoil will ever cause the scope to hit my eye. It is working fine without it.
Is there a way to order a replacement rubber ring? I've considered just putting a scope cover on that end but I'm a big fan of simplicity. That is why I use an Excalibur.
I had the same problem till I realized that I was snagging it with my cocking rope when I put it on. But since then I installed the scope lense covers and don't worry any more M&M
