Awesome pics, Sandman!!! The fawns do seem small; second or third rut breeding???

I've seen fawns with spots during the first week of November. Whether or not they can survive the winter I couldn't tell you. I would think that some do.

I had to double check the date on your original post. Those fawns look like august fawns. I would never have belived they were photgraphed on the 2nd of Oct. Wow, they better get some growin in fast or they won't make the winter.

We had a picture of a fawn on the trail cameras from about 1 week ago. The picture was taken in the laast half of September.

Their days would be numbered here in Sask., in a hard, cold winter.

Those spots are just there for lining up the cross hairs on the Varizone.
