The two fawns I saw tonight were alot larger than those two. Great pictures!

Yes these fawns are young for this time of year. Reasons? too many does for the amount of MATURE bucks to do the breeding on time thus the fawn drop is late (July). The mother didnt get bred until her second heat December. Not enough Mature bucks to do the breeding. Buck to Doe ratio is way out of balance.

great pictures i was going to say the same thing she was bread to late. i've seen 2 about that size here as well in the past couple weeks

Great pics small fawns things are changing there is no lack of bucks here I've seen spots in NOV. FADED but still spots, late breeding don't know why.

This doe had 3 fawns with her but I could not get them all into one photo. Would the fact that she had triplets account for smaller size??
Must be old age creeping up as I cant stop thinking about what a tough winter they are in for~!

They must have been born very late. They might survive a mild winter, but heavy snow would sure give them a tough time.
