VA bucks

Post by Rich »

My buddy sent this picture to me, I don't personally know the hunter, but it is a great story none the less. The hunter killed both of these bucks on VA's opener yesterday. The 2 bucks were sparring just out of range when the dominate buck walked into to bow range and he nailed it. A minute later, the other buck followed the exact trail and he shoot it. For all the arm chair Game Warden's out there- VA has a 2 deer per day limit and both may be bucks.

I've had this exact dream many of times while napping in the treestand, this guy made it happen for him.

Right nice pair, I knew that law and like it, not to many states are geared for it.

Good enough reason for me to carry more than one arrow.

Great story. And they are both nice bucks to boot. That is going to be a big taxidermist bill.

Nice bucks! Just need to add one thing to the limits. Virginia splits the State into two sections. East of the Blue Ridge and West of the Blue Ridge. I'll be West of the Blue Ridge and it's only one per day. So, if I post one of these big rack, two per day stories, go ahead and call the cops.
