Broadheads . . .data.
I'm trying to track some data on the broadheads we are using to see if anything might "jump" out at us after the season is over.
If you guys would post the broadhead used and the distance of recovery when you post your kill, then I'll try and keep track.
If I can get enough data, then maybe we can make some educated choices on which broadhead is worth using.
If there is any other data you guys think is worth including, then let me know.
Thanks,
Scott

Thanks guys. However, just include the information when you post your picture. I've gotten most of them already. I was considering adding the lshot distance, but, I'm afraid it might lead to some sort of long shot contest.

Allan . . .you are right on the shot placement issue. I think everybody will agree that if you put a broadhead in the right spot, then it really doesn't matter which one you use.
However . . .the broadhead has a direct impact on your ability to place your shot. So, it's definitely a key factor to consider, right?
It will be interesting to see which broadheads are more widely used and which ones kill the most deer.
Maybe we can breakdown the data and discover something on the recovery side of things(slim chance). Obviously, the data will be limited and very judgemental . . .so any "results" will need to be taken with a grain of salt. It's not like anyone has a ruler out there. Just keep in mind that the more accurate we can report the distance, then the better chance we have at obtaining some data with substance.
At least when somebody asks,"what broadhead should I use", we may have some viable information for them to consider.
