It was raining pretty hard last weekend and no deer were moving, but I got this little shoat. My Ghillie poncho was a little unfinished and hadn't been washed in, but I wore it anyway. I've since washed it and it came out awesome. It was easy to make and I only spent $35-$40 to make it.
It's the thin nylon camo from Hunter's Specialties. A nylon vollyball netting stitched in a few spots and Goop glue on the front and back to hold it to the netting. Flipping the camo over and adding the glue to the inside really helped to keep it from pulling apart and tearing the nylon. Then I just added jute cord. If I were to do it again I would try and find synthetic jute.
Using the nylon camo really helped in keeping the weight down.
Except when it's raining.......

Way to go. That little porker oughta eat pretty good!
Grizz
Now that I've washed it, it is a lot less defined. It has "poofed" out and really does looks like the Swamp Thing.
Having it as a poncho works great. I'm able to keep my hands inside and get things out of my pouches without being seen. Those hogs never saw me.
It ended up being a pretty expensive hunt though.
I couldn't find the 125gr Montec and an arrow from the past through. You can see the exit wound and where it took out a chunk of bone in his leg.
I also broke an arrow while tracking than a vine had snagged in my quiver. I still had a blast though and you can't buy that much pork for $24.
That's the 100gr Razorshark that I used to finish him.

I had 12 or more walking on top of me.

Instead of using BDU's, I made a poncho for hand concealment.
Goop glue or E6000 should work great.
