There's an apple orchard on Jockvale Rd near the Stonebridge community, I just picked up some apples this past weekend...lots there. Hope that's helpful.

Frank,

Parkdale Market has them 3 bushels for $20. That's Osgoode Orchards or Mr. Spagnolli(sp?). Or you can call the orchard at 826-0925.

On my drive in I know of about 6 or 7 wild apple trees. The apples are small, often bruised and not at all round - in other words perfect for deer.

If you can find a few out in the country/on the side of the road or in the forest grab a small bag.

Mountain Orchards. It is on Mountain Road. Near Winchester. Google them they have a website. I believe First Nation archery is out there too.

There is another Orchard just on the way to Manotick from Barhavan, near Stonebridge golf course?? I am not sure of the road name.
Take it easy.

I drive around alot for my job. If I see a productive tree/s, I stop and ask permission to pick them up off the ground. In 3 years, I 've yet to be denied access. Most people are more than happy to get rid of the "mess". :)

I wish getting access to hunting ground was this easy.
