some pics from the summer
Finally have some time to download my camera. It's been a crazy summer.
I was following a few flocks of geese that were raised in the fields near my rental cottage. This was the last time I saw them.
One evening driving home I saw this guy that had been struck by a car. He was quite dazed and scuffed up, so a local fella (whose son happens to work for me) took it to a conservation fella that is about three doors down from me. He said he got some strange looks from other drivers when they saw a deer sitting in the passenger side of the truck.
He nursed the little guy back to health and it spent a few days with his horses before jumping the fence and taking off into the bush.
The reason we decided to take him somewhere, was because he kept trying to walk back to the road.
Saw this doe while camping this summer.
Nellwyn really getting the most out of the camping experience.
Not sure what this is, but it looked interesting.
Finally, a few sunset pictures.

I hunt for memories, the meat's a bonus!

GREAT PHOTOS!
That plant is called "Indian Pipe" - it doesn't have any chlorophyll. I found it once on a canoe trip on the French and was facinated by it - it's so eerie-looking and different!
I'll see if I can find a link...
