season over before it starts

well i called my sis today to remind her its out parents wedding aniversey today. and she informed me about the 600 acers that we thought we had permisson to hunt on. its all been leased out and no hunting allowed as of now. thier thinking about change it but not this season. oh well was really looking forwad to going hunting this year. i need to find a good hunting club thats not to far away with some cheap dues.

There is alot of public land in Ga to hunt! Look into some of the WMA's and look for some national forest lands. Its too late to apply for any of the quota hunts though.

yeah me to. i really dont like hunting public land. i had a bad expercince with the one down in richmond hill. and i refuse to hunt ft. stweart and hunter thier is a lot of bating going on the two bases and i dont want to losse my stuff.

Good point bstout, That's exactly how I got to hunt on a pig farmers property because of no rifle report and flying lead. Once he got to know me he said kill everything you see eating my corn.

thanks for that tip thier i may just have to do a revist to thier place over the weekend and tell them i dont gun hunt but only bow hunt.
