Feeling good this morning

Post by Wayne B »

I'm still really, really excited. I shot a nice eight point buck just before dark last night. My first deer with my new Vortex. All the tips and help on this site really helped me to prepare for this season. We can only get one tag for this area so I guess I'm done. But that's ok, he's down, he's beautiful and he's hanging in the garage! TENDERLIONS TONITE!

Congrats on the buck! You got pictures and a story?

I'll take some pics and try to post them when I bring him down off the hoist. I shot him out of a ladder stand at 20 yards. Quartering to me. Complete pass through, he actually came closer not knowing what happened. I remained quiet and still until he fell over. I still have a stupid old grin on my face.

Way to go Wayne.

Now you can camp on the forum and give the rest of us advice.

Congratualtions!
