Can I use bow string wax for the Crankaroo string? If not what should I use if anything...

Hi PaJack.
My advice would be not to use anything. The bowstring wax only caked up and caused the string to double up on itself on the crank axle and also allowed for some slipping when cinching it up tight. Use it plain for best results.

Have never seen a reason to use anything on that string.

Bowstring wax is interned to keep the individual strands for chafing against each other. Cocker rope is woven, no need to wax.
