Post by GA.crossbowhunt »

well so much for our few days of nice weather. that will change to darn right cold and windy weather here. so i want to know who opened the darn door up their and let all this cold weather come this way. we are suppose to have frost in the am and we normaly dont get that till mid december or january. but it should be a great morning out in the woods. its to bad that i will miss it. but the good thing about the frost it will kill off some of these darn sand nats that we have down here.

They are calling for 38 low in the morning w/ frost also down here along the bayous. Usually we are still sweating while we hunt this time of the year, I don't mind this weather. I don't know if I could handle what the northern brothers call cold.

No !!! No!!! Huntman it was me. This morning when I got up, it was -12 C. here. That oughta flick the leaves off the trees.

The full deep rut is only about 2 weeks away. Cold weather only makes it more intense, bring it on. HAHAHA

Huntman and the rest of my team, I've been seeing two very good bucks on our property. One could possibly go Record Book. That one was up wind of me and still sensed me there. that buck left me like a ghost in the wind.

We've got a frost warning here in East NC tonight.

Maybe that'll roast some of these skeeters! :D

We are expecting 5-10cm (or 2-4" for the imperial folks  ) of snow over night.

Look on the bright side fellows. It has got rid of those skeeters and other flying insects finally! Deer seem to like it too.
Keep smiling!
