Flu flu.. go away

Post by crazyfarmer »

come again another day.. after ML season would be nice

Woke up this morning with a sore throat and throbbing headache/fever. Also, a slight nagging cough which comes and goes every 30 mins.

Hopefully I can get rid of this by saturday... but even the flu doesnt stop me from hunting.. working yes  but hunting.. nope :P :D

I believe this high wind and hunting in it finally got the best of me

Been there done that. It started last week and the real pain in the a$$ symptoms only lasted for a couple of days. Still trying to get the head and chest cleared out a week later, but feel great. If it's the same one, you should be good to go by saturday.

CF you picked a bad time to get sick! I saw a buck tracking three doe's last night. I think it is about to bust wide open here!

Try and make sure you stay hydrated. Drink the hell out of juices, water, what ever.

And just plain crash. Might as well sleep as much as you can.

Oh, and very good timing as well as the winter wheat needs to go in right now!

don't mess around too long with the head/ throat/ chest thing. i did and wound up with the big P. much better 4 weeks later, still an x-ray in 2 weeks and should hopefully be done. doc told me it is the # 8 killer of men outside of the hospital and actually #1 in the hospital, so don't wait too long if it just keeps hanging on! good luck and hope you guys feel much better really fast.
thanks philip

Load up on Zinc during the flu season it helps alot.. We have our own buisness and can't afford health insurance, so we watch what we touch out in public places take a lot of zinc and use purell -keep some in the trucks- after being out at public places like walmart and such.. sounds germafobic but it beats being at the doctors 10 times a year.. And it works..

I shake a lot of hands every week ... and I wash my own like a surgeon.

I try not to touch my eyes, mouth or nose until I do.

It DOES make a difference!
