Deer steaks agian

Post by tkstae »

I haven't written for a while. Just wanted to let everyone know that my Exocet did it's job again this year. I took a nice fat doe on the Missouri, Iowa border on Monday morning. I took her at 15 yds. double lung with a 125 gr. Wasp and Easton aluminum shafts. She only went 25 yd. I took a doe there last year almost from the same tree. It's hard to believe it's been five years since I asked my first of so many questions, and with all your help, and my old 175 lb. Exocet I've been eating a steady diet of deer meat for the past five years. Best of luck to everyone, and please be carefull out there. Tom

It's great isn't it? Made a 10lb batch of jerky the other day. Enough to 'wet the whistle' of the gang at rifle camp next w/e. It would take 50 lbs to actually satisfy them! Evey scrap disappears into their blind-sitting packs.
