Buck Bomb

Post by Dumbazz »

Just to let you know. If you try and make it last for several hunts, you may end up running out of propellant before you are actual out of the liquid. Not sure what the actual propellant is, but I would guess compressed nitrogen.

I have a quarter can left but can't spray it. Gonna punch a hole and leave a huge pee spot!
I come by my name honestly.

I'm noticing the same thing as I'm almost through my first can. :? Good tip about punching a hole.

i try to use mine in 2 hunts... trust me, you might waste a can or 2 and not see nothing, but when you deply that whole can and it hits a certain spot in the bottom just right.. look out

nothing like 3-4 bucks running in like mad :D

i use half a can in the morning and the othe rhalf later that day normally, but it depends on how long I have to hunt and the wind direction

I wondered if I got a bad can because I couldn't get it to stop bubbling/dripping. I finally found 1 can of Dominant Buck at the Canadian Tire store in St. Thomas. I tried it on an early afternoon hunt on Sunday with no success but that would be mostly due to 2 kids coming into the area unexpectedly to play and my neighbour used up the rest of the can later in the day with no results.

One thing I can say is that stuff stinks! It took me several hand washings and 2 showers to finally get the smell of deer piss out of my hands!!

I've been searching high and low in the London area and can't find it Buck Bombs anywhere. I've even had a guy from work check the store in Delhi with negative results. He's checking the store in Simcoe for me tomorrow.

Dave, I think most places are having trouble keeping it on the shelves. Call ahead and ask when the next shipment is coming in, then ask if they'd put aside some for you. That's the only way I got mine. Good luck!

I drove out to Triggers and Bows in Burford last week and they were out but the fella there ordered 20 cans in. He is going to set 4 aside for me but I will advise when when they call to let me know they are in (any day now). Burford might be a bit far for you but if you are in need I'd be happy to grab a couple cans for you and meet you in L-Town as I am there several times a week~!

I might just take you up on that! I'll see what the guy from work finds tomorrow and then let you know.

Assuming Triggers and Bows would get them by the end of this week do you know when you'd be in London after that?

Thanks,

Dave

I try to strech one can for two hunts also. Be careful though. I used the remainder of my can while hunting Monday night. Picked up the can when leaving the woods, put the top back on and placed it in my pocket. When I got to the house my pocket was dripping wet. I didn't realize that the can still had liquid in it. Boy did I smell good. My wife didn't care for it but the dogs sure loved me.

a friend told me about his running out of gas so when i tryed my 3 cans i shook them while deploying them and had no problem getting out all the gold or making them last a few hunts. you may get some on you this way, but its great cologne for the dance your at

I have the same problem. I really think the valves a defective on these things. After a couple of uses the valves seem to develop a slow leak and you loose all of the propellent. :(

Used them the 4 times I've been out hunting and had deer come to them twice. I'd say that's not bad. :D
I hunt for memories, the meat's a bonus!
