What size allen wrench for scope mounts?

Post by PA GUY »

My dealer installed my scope and rings and now I want to go back and loc tight them.

For the life of me I can't find an allen key to fit the top screws on the rings?

These are the rings that came with the Phoenix package.

I assume its metric since made in Canada.

Can anyone tell me what size for sure?

All mine are either too big or too small.

Thanks

I just measured the allen key that came with mine .098 thousands. I don't know what that is.

I've never had a problem w/ rings shooting loose, except for the screws that holds them to scope mount. The front screws on scope mount tend to want to loosen up more so than the rear, but I Loc-tite them aLL [4]. Blue, not Red.

2.5 mm is right, but they're metric because they're made in China.

The rest of the bow is Imperial because it's made in Canada.
