For you`s guys down south this is called snow .
Got into the stand and was pumped to maybe do some blood letting .But to no avail nothing showed but my friend the red squirrel .But I did snap a few pics, here is one to the left of my stand .
The snow was heavy enough to pull a major size branch down in front of one of my shooting lanes .
On the way out took a few more pictures. The snow was so heavy it made normal pines into snowcones .
I love the hunting in the snow too, it can hold very few secrets. We didn't that much here, had the wind and a bit of fluff but no accumulation.
If you are not willing to learn, nobody can help you, if you are willing, nobody can stop you.

We got a small preview of it this morning. More of a sleet than snow, but the ground isn't frozen so it didn't accumulate.
I love to spend a day outdoors after a fresh snowfall, so many stories to be read from the tracks left in it.
You are right Wabi you see nothing but fresh tracks.I like to look at it as a giant etch-a-sketch wiped clean .There is no such thing as a week old track just hours old.
great shots doe master. I was able to hook up with a buddy of mine this morning for a round of sporting clays at a local club - nothing quite beats walking through snowy bush with a shotgun (or crossbow )
