Ground blind blood trail

Post by Dumbazz »

Setting up on the ground in a couple spots, but worried blood trail may not be as good as it would be from a tree stand. (angle of shot).

Thoughts?
I come by my name honestly.

Hit them in the vitals and it doesnt matter where your hunting from! A pass through is a pass through!

My neighbour dropped a small doe at 30-35 yards from a ground blind last year. Double lung and heart complete pass through. That deer didn't go 1 foot and I have never seen so much blood.

Put the arrow through the "boiler room" and the blood trail will be easy to follow. The hard part is finding the arrow after the shot.

3 of my 5 were from groundblinds and I would agree with the above advice.
Dont know about you bu I tended to hit high so make sure you hold low in the vitals and it should be fine.
I recovered all but 1 within a very short distance and the one was my fault

It is a different view.
Get your target out and pratice from the blind

I suggest some of CF's highly visible Cow Wacker arrows. Mine arrived in the mail today and Ooooooooo BABY! They're gorgeous and they're bright!

I like sitting on the ground when the leaves are all gone.
