excal ff string

excal ff string

hi guys;
just put a ff on my phoenix ,had a excal reg that comes with the right choice, will it change my poi, if it does will it shoot hi or lo :?

RR,

It should shoot slightly higher due to the increase in speed. I would guss no more than 1.5 inches at 20 yards. Make sure you shoot it just to verify.

it will take sometime to break that string in also.. just make sure to retwist after about 10 shots if its brand new and never strung before

Sorry to hijack your thread.

I am new to xbow hunting have been rifle hunting for 30 years. I understand the concept for twisting the string as it stretches but how do you know how many times to twist it?

twist it and see where it lies as to brace height, adjust it to where ya want it then...........bob

4 clicks at 20 yds[on either Zone] from my experiments, then redo the speed ring.
