Weird fawn??

Not really sure if this is a whitetail fawn. Any ideas?? Butch

Fallow deer!!we have a herd of them in an enclosed area just outside of Waterford Ont people stop to feed them this one must of got loose from someones farm?

Looks like a fallow to me we had some in a farm near us. You might want report this to the CO in your area. I believe they will compete with the local deer population.

My first thought is you had a fallow deer there as well.

that's a fallow doe. i've seen many of them while hunting texas. they also taste exactly like whitetails too 8)

Its kinda weird to see this little guy around. I saw him again this morning. He didnt run like a whitetail. Wonder what he taste like?? Not even sure if he is legal to harvest on my own property? Im going to phone the MNR on Monday and find out what the deal is. Couple of weeks ago I saw a cow elk on one of the open local feilds. Butch

Elks no dice, as for this guy, call them up but I know of a couple red deer excaping near north bay a little while back and they told my uncle all you need is a small game license for varmints, which is what they were.

If you come across any escaped exotics they are fair game?Iknow a few years back some reddeer got loose from a local farm and the boys had two of them hanging with the whitetails they shot that week of the controlled hunt.
