Her stupidity was only surpassed by her foolishness. She was lucky she wasn't mauled. Do you think these folks learned something, I doubted.

Bob,
I see from you videos you know the easy way to skin squirrels, too.
I've been using that method for over 40 years now.

Attacks like this happen and they find a way to blame the bear.

I probably just wanted the rest of the food.
Thanks for posting that White Feather :D

make friends with a bear

Post by the elf »

I agree those people were extremely stupid. One point that has not been stated is that the woman might have been in her time of the month and that smell might have agitated the bear even more. The stupidity of some people is amazing---you can't protect people from themselves.

There was a lady type fruitcake living in my part of Arkansas before I got here [2002] that had lured local bears in w/ food over a period of time and was in her swimming pool w/ several of them when she got mauled.

F&G puts down bears that attack people here, very very seldom. The locals ran her back to where ever she came shortly after that.

My Wife said the guy should have been slapping the woman with the stick for teasing the bear... I agree big time...

Looks like she was holding the bucket away from the bear and the bear was trying to pull it (and her) closer?
