custom arrows

i have finally made up my mind. i want to try carbon arrows for next years hunt. who is making custom arrows? 2 to 4 inch vanes, wraps and either gt's or firebolts.

LMAO...

2 or 4inch vanes doesnt really matter. With the shorter vane you will pick up more FOC which helps flight. Plus you may gain 2-4fps with the shorter vane. But the choice is really up to the shoooter. 2-3-4 inch vanes all shoot the same for me. I just like the look of the 2inch vanes on the short arrows/bolts

The shorter vanes seem less prone to 'injury' since I started using them. Easier to heat straight when an ouch does occur. I have on numerous occasions pulled them through the foam target without loss of vanes or even damage. As for flight, the 2'' may shoot just a tad flatter, IMO but not enough to make a difference for minute of deer.
I enjoy making my own but if I didn't, Crazy's would be my choice.
