I woke up this morning and it was raining white fluffy frozen grits. What the heck is this stuff? There is almost 4" of it on the ground. I would go check it out, but it is just too cold outside at 31 degrees.

That's what we got here this week.

I don't remember needing snowshoes to hunt in mid December since I was kid living further north. I'm going out this weekend but I'm heading to the store to get snoeshoes at lunch today. Oh, and CT has ATV winches on sale. Might just get one of those too.
