O/T Very Sad Evening

Post by Golden Eagle »

We had to put our Black Lab Rosie down this Afternoon. Her Hips were gone and she never got up the last 4 Days.

I brought her Home As a Christmas Present for my Twin Daughters 13 years ago next week. They were 6 at the time and thought sure Santa had left her here. They took it really hard as they raised her from a pup but it was time to let her go and they knew it.

We brought Her Home and Buried her in our back Yard.
She was a Great Dog and will be Sadly Missed.

Here she is in Healthier Times.

Everyone who has ever had a dog knows how bad you and your family feel right now. Just remember the good times.

Sorry to hear about your loss. If you're like me, I take the loss of a hunting partern as difficult or more difficult  than a family member.

If you're not part of the solution, you might be part of the problem.

It is never an easy thing to do..... The hardest part is when you come home for the first time and they are no longer there to greet you. That is when it really hits home.

Mans best friend. Definately!!

I hate when that time comes. Two times for me so far.
When the time comes for my latest Yellow Lab, it will almost kill me I'm sure. My thoughts are with you and your Family now.
