Other Xbow Companies Releasing 2009 Xbows

Post by papaw714 »

Excalibur Marketing Dude,
I started a thread early this month about the 2009 Excalibur Xbows. You posted a reply telling us to watch Excals site the next couple of weeks. It's been a couple of weeks and I have checked almost every day and found no news. It now seems Bowtech and Ten Point have released their 2009 products. I was just wondering how much longer it might be before I will see Excals new lines. Sorry I'm so darn antsy but I just can't wait to see them.

I'm not expecting to much as it is hard to improve on the best!

We'd be pleased to release our new products prematurely for you guys, but we'd have to send that assassin girl from the other thread to hunt you all down so that you couldn't blab about it. Hang onto your butts, we will release the new stuff at the ATA show on the second weekend of January and Peter will immediatly put it up when he returns from Indiana. After all, we can't take a chance that Middleton will see it in time to copy it by then!

I can only hope that not much has changed.

While the competition (if there even is such a thing) is busy trying to come out with some newfangled features to sell their bows, I purchased my excalibur because it was a bare bones no nonsense hunting machine.

I my only wish is that they had made my model(an exocet 200) in black, for blind hunting. Although black isn't much of a new revelation.

I think Excal has a great product and see no reason to make drastic changes.

IMO, i would be happy if they just took their 2008 catalog and changed the cover to say 2009.

Wow it even looks the same, guess that was an employee of excaliper at one time. Years of hard work and always someone whom wants to take an easy road where everything is done forf them. Hope he sleeps at night if that is the case.
