exocet 200 scores blood...........

Post by bob1961 »

all i can say is "WOW" that doe never knew what hit her....she didn't even twitch at the shot....49 yard quartering to me shot, she didn't even konw i was there....all i heard was the bow go TWANG, and before the twang sound went away i heard the arrow THWACK....she kinda leaped bucked walked in a half circle bout 20 feet from where she was just standing then dropped....paced it of 3 times and came up with two 48 yard and 49 yards as readings....i have my arrows set up shooting 2" groups at 40 yards with 21.4 foc with 110gr brass insert with two 25gr screw in weights behind the insert holding a 125gr slick trick....550gr arrows at 290fps over 100 pounds of KE....the 125gr slick trick broke a rib going in just behind the shoulder blade took out the lung at least on that side, tore the liver up and came out through the stomach and smashed a rib going out leaving a hole i could have stuck three fingers through and i found it bout 20 ft from where the deer was, wasn't even messed up....new blades and that arrow is good to go....glad i went with those 125gr slick trick mags....i had to back up from the tree i was standing next to so i could clear the tree....stood there with a solid off hand shot and felt as positive as i could be to pull the trigger and that excalibur exo 200 just sung out it's deadly wisper  ....................bob
