Snow Camo

Post by FredBear »

I'm looking to get some new snow camo. Doesn't seem like there is a lot of choices out there. Looking for anyone whom has used a good product. Thanks for your help in advance.

I use the cover-up snow camo from Cabelas. Inexpensive and fits over your regular hunting cloths. I have the Realtree Snow camo version.
I would buy it again.

It's hard to of beat a pair of cheap disposable white Tyvek coveralls over whatever hunting clothes you have now.

I agree with you. I use Tyvek type of coverall for work in the extra large size. It fits well over clothes and an added plus it holds the heat in and iis nice and warm.

I bought a pair of white "miami vice" pants at Marks Work Warehouse. They have two slash pockets, elastic and draw cord waist. 50/50 poly/cotton. Spray painted some black in varying intensities. Now I have snow camo to fit over my regular camo.

Still working on the shirt.

I use a white sweatshirt and joggin pants picked up at a factory outlet cheap as no-one wants to wear white. A little spray paint and voila Snow camo. Not sure if it works on deer as they see UV rays abit different. Coyotes and geese don't see me though.

The Natural Gear snow camo has worked very well, and I also have a set of Skyline, and Mossy Oak snow camo. Of them all, I think the Nat Gear is the best. I myself find Tyvek suits slippery and noisey. Cheap for sure, but I think there are better options. I'd wear them for a goose hunt, but not to beat the ears of a whitetail. Just my 2 cts.

Because I'm in construction one of my suppliers sells them by the case (25 pcs). Any construction safety store should have them.
