I filled my additional tag but I missed (literally  ) filling my main tag.

On a side note, for those of you who received the new Ontario deer hunt surveys from MNR, don't forget to fill it out and mail it in.

Cheers :)

Got my fill of that dish last year. This year I was back in the "brown it's down" mode for the first tag. I didn't fill the second tag. Passed on a few gimmie shots because I was waiting for something with bigger head gear.

Guess I'm in good company.

Could try to boil up the deer from the range on Saturday, but I'm thinking the tags would taste better...

The reason i ask is that I was lucky enough to fill most of my tags, I am willing to share with those who are venison hungry. But i dont think it ships well in the mail :D An yone who would like some venison and is in the hamilton area, just give me a pm.

Just a small pot for me this year. Shot 3 Does but no buck. The only buck I saw this year was one that Riley shot at and missed. Riley got skunked this year but we managed to use up his additional tag in a year end group hunt with our neighbour Vince.

Does are better eating anyway. :D

I was wondering about the same thing in my area : Eastern Ontario? I did manage to take a doe which very seldom I do, but the big guys were either scarce or heaven forbid even smarter this year.
On a positive note, I was at the deer yard on Saturday afternoon and saw around 200. Some big guys still wear wearing their antlers. Lots of does and fawns.

I've got another tag to go onto my gun cabinet. My collection gets bigger every year.

This was the best year we've had in a long time.My buddy started it of with a 7 point buck then my son got his first deer a 8 point buck. Then I got 6 point buck. This all happened in a matter of 3 weeks. What a year to remember. :D
