Our small group managed to knock a couple down during the shotgun hunt,

But you can use my tag in your stew, never did use it up this season

Are you talking about me as the Spring Turkey other than the one you bagged?
I to have a spring turkey and deer tag to add to the broth. We have been in Wiarton since last week of Oct. bricking a house and the weather has not been on our side. Looked at some property for this coming turkey season and does it have a nice setup.
Question- why does the wildlife come out of the bush AFTER the season is over? Can't believe the amount of turkey and deer sighting since season is closed. :? :?

Got both my tags still...had some good times with my buds, but all in all a very disappointing & frustrating season.

I hunt near Carleton Place, Ontario. On my five outings, I did not even see a deer. Some of those trips were during rifle season and I did not even hear a gun blast in the area.

Needless to say, I still have my two tags :-(
