POST YOUR WEIRDEST ANTLER PIC

Post by Grizzly Adam »

Hey, Y'all ...

I promised Mike P. I'd post a pic of a crazy palmated shed my brother found, and I thought it would make a good thread if everyone contributed their strange and weird racks too!

So, here's the palmated antler:

The dog drug this up in southeastern Indiana, in Decatur County:

My lil' brother holding the antler (the French Voyager's tuque was a present from me!):

My nephew holding the antler:

Southern Indiana is well known for it's non-typical deer ... but any way you stretch it, that's a lot of antler. You wouldn't believe how heavy it is!

No picture but my dad killed a six pointer many years ago and you could hold the entire rack in the palm of you hand. It was tiny.
God Bless !!!!!!!!!

Here is a Monster ( for our area at least ) , left side shed , it has 8 scoreable points on this side alone.... it is 2.6 inches diameter at the base and has approx 6.5 circ. in some places !

Image

The picture doesn't do it justice .... I put a 2216 with a 130 grain wasp cam lock with it for refrence ....

This is a decent size 9 point buck I took on GRCA Property .... I put a 2216 with a 130 grain wasp cam lock with it as well refrence to compare to the above picture of the recent lelft side shed....

Some wierd looking antlers posted so far, but in my opinion, the ones below are the weirdest so far. Wouldn't you agree.
