Post by saxman »

Karen and Kelly are on their way (again) to Fayetteville NC.
We are going to let the Army take over as she is non compliant here.

I hope it works out

Hope it works out for the best.
A change in atmosphere may be just the thing, about all you can do is try and see if it helps.

Well said wabi.

All I would add is "keep trying" in place of try.

Sometimes helping the ones who need the help most is difficult.

it is a difficult thing when you love someone to try to make them do what they must do... the atmosphere there will be more likely to get her attention and to motivate her as there is no room for sympathy in a rehab environment and she is not making the best decisions due in part to her injuries .. and I am sure she is tired of the whole injury / recovery thing... not hard to get depressed when the progress is slow... there will be her best opportunity for recovery... where the professional physical and occupational therapists have the experience and the opportunity to work hand in glove with counsellors .. also remember there she is military personnel and will take orders due to training.. that will go further than will power or encouragement alone...
please keep us further informed... and you might talk to some of the personell there to see some help on how to best deal with her condition in your relationship with her..
