Will the normal curvature of the earth have nothing to do with how long it takes the fired bullet to reach the ground?

You can tell hunting season is over,such a philosophical topic to ponder theoretically and at such ungodly hours of the day to be thinking so hard but than again an active mind is a healthy mind :D
