anybody have any difficulties with obtaining the required permissions to look and participate on this site...i registered, completed the registration with the email reply and just spent a half hour or so, being directed to private pages that i can't access...am i reading the instructions correct in that each and every page has to have permission to view or participate...i tried to get into a couple of forums, obtain permission and possibly look at a classified section (although i don't think they call it anything like that), and just ended up in total frustration...anybody help an old fart get a look at this stuff...i know i've got to be doing something wrong  ...

thanks...

You have to request access to each section of the forum, then wait.. Or, you can send a moderator a PM and ask him to accelerate your request. Check out the FAQ part it may help speed things up.
Quite a forum, seems every thread turns in to a fight, but here are some pretty brilliant guys hiding in the shadows.

Been a member there for a few years. There are some good deals available on the equipment exchange, but you need to be quick, the good ones don't last long.

The "Articles' section is a good source of information that the main stream media ignores.

The discussions often get intense. There are crack pot posts, but there are enough nuggets that it's worthwhile.
