That's why many of us enjoy Mike P's writings, he usually sums things up so well!Mike P wrote:First, let me say welcome to the forum.
Second, that is an amazing first post.
And third, I will once again need awshucks to break this down and explain it to me as this is well beyond my comprehension.

Thank you for the warm welcome, from most of you!
I did not know very much about bullet physics so I went on the Internet and learned the references and explanations of what aspects of physics, or Ballistic Data, are utilized during a projectile in flight!
I became very confused quite quickly when I installed and launched the BRC software from Hawke Scope and it spewed out the Data sheet, but within two hours of reading a couple of web pages regarding Ballistic Data, the whole thing made complete sense by dinner time!
Here is an Image of the original design that inspired it all!
As for the others...
Attention Knuckle Draggers!
I have spent several years not communicating with very many people, I don’t’ blog, chat, Facebook or Forum. I only email close friends and family. This actually my first joining of anything like that!
Sooo....
If Rude and Spiteful collaboration is what I have to look forward too, then I shall not return! I don’t particularly like humans anyway... Time will tell!

Welcome Derrick!
You'll come to see we're a pretty harmless, fun-loving bunch here. We enjoy kidding around and never mean anything by it.
It's a sign of affection if we're less than formal in our responses - seriously.
You've got our attention and we're impressed! Looking forward to hearing/seeing more of your experiences!
Again, welcome to the family!

By all means, welcome to the forum. I just saw that bow that inspired you yesterday on Matthias's site in Italy while searching for info on the Wolfzeit mount, that's one of his creations I believe?Mike P wrote:First, let me say welcome to the forum.

Fwiw, we don't have any "knuckle draggers" on here. We do however have a bunch of guys that are tweakers such as yourself, and a bunch that have large a sense of humor. Here's an example of the latter:
I have to admit when I read your post I was reminded of the movie "Con Air" w/ Nicolas Cage and a quote he made in it, which was "Why couldn't you just leave the bunny alone"?
Referencing of course to the similarity and simplicity of the Zone scopes, lol.
Have fun!
