First Crossbow Arrived Today

Post by Whistlin Hunter »

It arrived today! :D My first crossbow. After a disasterous start with my first order, my new Vortex arrived this afternoon along with a STS, and right stuff package. Once again THANKS to all who helped me in locating a reputable dealer at a greate price. You folks are the greatest! 8) . After watching the dvd and getting everything put together I went outside took 2 shots at 10 yds adjusted the scope one shot at 20 yds and (once again not paying heed to posts I've read on here) used my previous arrow as the target  , you guessed it I busted my arrow  !!! Please feel free to ridicule me as I continue to humble myself by not listening to ya'll. Now I can hardly wait for next deer season, I'm trying to get a hog hunting trip up to somewhere before turkey season opens down here. Guess I need some more arrows first though. Thanks again :D

Congrats on the xbow purchase. Where do you plan on hog hunting? I have gotten a couple with my vertical bow at Charlie Elliot WMA.

Congratulations on your new bow!!!!!!!!!!!
Now get out there and enjoy shooting it. Just quit using arrows as targets (unless you have lots of money to waste).
